Mijn moeder maakt al zowat heel haar leven kleding. Wat zij maakte is expressief en nieuw, dit daagde me altijd uit om uit mijn comfort zone te gaan en nieuwe dingen uit te proberen en in die zoektocht mij zeker te voelen. Van vreemden krijg ik veel complimenten wanneer ik kleding draag die mijn moeder zelf gemaakt en daarom wil ik in de toekomst haar creaties naar de markt brengen.

In mijn toekomstige optredens/projecten wil ik zelf kunnen dansen. De dansbaarheid van de muziek is mijn drijfveer in het luisteren en maken van de muziek, omdat het altijd mijn uitlaatklep is geweest.

Laatste tijd luister ik veel naar R&B. Ik heb haar ontdekt in 2019. Haar feminine power is wat mij aanspreekt en lekkere baslijntjes. Ik bewonder haar omdat ze alles in haar eentje schrijft, inspeelt en produceert. Haar carriére is een voorbeeld voor mij.

Stromae vind ik niet alleen qua sound vet, maar ook heel gaaf omdat al zijn songs over maatschappelijk onderwerpen gaan, zo gaat Carmen bijvoorbeeld over het giftige gebruik van Twitter; ta fete over paranoïde mensen; Alors on Danse (problemen vergeten door te dansen)

Qua sound ga ik heel goed op Dua Lipa's nu-disco feel. Weer goeie baslijntjes en lekker dansbaar.
Lady Gaga
Ik vind haar 2010 techno-pop muziek een vette sound. Maar wat ik vooral waardeer is dat er een diepere laag onder haar muziek zit: Marry the Night gaat om je eigen darkness te omarmen; Pokerface gaat om haar experiment met vrouwen; Judas gaat over hoe Judas niet altijd de 'slechte' persoon is van het verhaal. Impliciete kritiek op religie speelt een grote rol.
Niet alleen Lady Gaga's sound, maar dat zij er een heel verhaal omheen vertelt door clips, fashion en kunst vind ik gaaf. Ze creeert een community met de Monster Ball en de Born This Way (foundation). Zo gaat Born This Way bijvoorbeeld over een filosofisch concept dat we niet 1x geboren worden, maar constant in verandering zijn.

Smart cities offer a promising way to deal with the problems that the increasing city population brings. To deal with the ethical implications of smart cities, the Netherlands faces a proliferation of ethical guidelines, principles and manifests. However: To what extent are Dutch citizen’s interest and rights protected by ethical guidelines? This study answers this question by using a critical discourse analysis. It is an exploratory analysis that uncovers unnoticed themes in the ethical discourse on smart cities and it offers recommendations to strengthen the protection of citizens. Together, the ethical guidelines that are selected represent at least five major cities in the Netherlands. This study found that overall, the ethical guidelines are supporting the smart city discourse in which data is seen as a promise for the future, citizen’s interest is not central and public-private governance is pre-supposed in the digital public space. Indeed, the ethical guidelines have shown to overlook how Big Data analytics transforms ways of governing, that is also described as, ‘algorithmic governmentality’. Therefore, if guidelines want to commit to the protection of citizen’s interest, this study encourages them to review their guidelines in a Big Data context. However, as ultimately only laws and regulation can ensure the protection of citizen’s interest and rights, future research is encouraged to look into the re-structuring of the legal system.
